About this course
Integrating AI tools into teaching practices is an innovative training program designed for educators eager to integrate AI into their teaching methodologies. This course offers a blend of direct instruction, hands-on activities, and collaborative discussions, enabling teachers to harness AI tools for creating dynamic and engaging learning experiences. Participants will explore various AI-powered resources, develop AI-infused lesson plans, and engage in daily discussions to apply their knowledge practically. By the end of this training, educators will be well-equipped to transform their classrooms with AI, enhancing the learning journey across various subjects.
By the end of this intensive training, participants will not only have a comprehensive understanding of AI in education but also practical experience in creating and implementing AI-enhanced lessons, ready to inspire and engage the digital-native generation.
Learning outcomes
- Understanding AI Fundamentals: Gain a solid understanding of artificial intelligence concepts, applications, and ethical considerations in an educational context.
- Practical Application of AI Tools: Learn to effectively use AI tools and resources to create engaging and innovative lesson plans. Develop skills to seamlessly integrate AI into various subjects, enhancing the educational experience.
- Designing AI-Infused Lessons: Acquire the ability to design and implement AI-infused lessons that cater to diverse learning styles and needs. Develop the habit of reflective practice in teaching with AI, focusing on continuous improvement and adaptation.
Day-by-day programe
Training usually takes place between 9:00 and 14:00, followed by after-class activities, that are optional.
DAY 1 - Introduction to AI in education
The program begins with an initial gathering where we’ll cover practical details and introduce the schedule. During this session, participants will have the opportunity to meet each other and share their individual expectations, requirements, and preferences concerning the program’s content and instructional approaches.
Following this, we will make an overview of AI and its impact on education, give hands-on introduction to basic AI tools, and discuss on how AI can transform traditional teaching Methods.
DAY 2 - AI Tools and Resources for Educators
- Deep dive into AI educational tools.
- Hands-on activities with selected AI tools.
- Sharing experiences and challenges in using AI tool.
- Strategies for integrating AI across different subjects.
- Brainstorming session on innovative AI lesson ideas.
DAY 3 - Collaborative Projects and Ethical Considerations
- Group project work: developing collaborative AI-infused lessons
- Discussion on ethics and responsible use of ai in education
- Reflecting on ethical implications in classroom settings
DAY 4 - Project Presentation
- Presentation of group projects with feedback session and reflective practice.
- Discussion on future directions and continuing professional development in ai education.
DAY 5 - Evaluation and farewell
The analysis of gained knowledge and skills and key learning points are discussed as well as planning the follow up activities, dissemination and implementation of learning outcomes.
Closing Ceremony: Certificate distribution and closing remarks, emphasizing ongoing support and resources for participants as they implement AI tools into teaching practices.
